Flipz Pet Care is proud to offer training for puppies as well as adults.

Our training is based on positive reinforcement techniques. We do not use pain aversion techniques that can cause behavior issues. Our focus is on rewarding good behavior, and maintaining clear communication, so your dog understands what you WANT them to do, rather than what you don't want them to do.

We specialize in Puppy Training, Crate Training, Loose- leash Walking, Obedience and General Manners. Training is one of the best ways you can bond with your dog, and it is crucial you are present and learn how to communicate with your dog. Our goal is to provide long-term training that you can work on throughout their life time, not temporary training that wears off once you bring your dog home. That's why online follow-up sessions are mandatory any time we work with your dog one-on-one. While we do work with dogs who have selective reactivity, we do NOT offer aggressive behavior modification for extreme aggression cases, and recommend you seek a Behaviorist(PhD) rather than a trainer for achieving those goals. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we now provide private, in-home training sessions online, through Zoom. Most clients report achieving the similar or better results from online training sessions because they are completely involved in the training process. We will guide you through training step by step with the same attention to detail as if we were there in person!

If your dog needs one-on-one time with a trainer, we currently have three covid-safe options for in-person training.

1) Private In-home Training Sessions: A trainer will come to your home and wear a mask while indoors. If you have an outdoor space and weather permits, we will do as much training as possible outside.

2) Dog Only Training Sessions: We can provide a 45 minute or hour long session working directly with your dog, outside. We will then schedule an online follow-up session to go over videos of what your dog learned and how to reinforce it. This works best for adolescent dogs and adult dogs who are learning leash walking and proper socialization.

3) Private Board & Train:

In order to serve dogs who need more time with a trainer, we now offer Training Camp. We will pick up your dog in the evening, then spend the night getting them settled in and adjusted. The next couple of days they will get two full training sessions per day, as well as supplemental practice, walks and playtime. We will drop them off in the evening at the end of your booking, and schedule an online or in-person session with you to go over video clips of your pup's training sessions. Please note, an online or in-person follow-up session is REQUIRED after every booking. Private Board & Train is only available to clients who have completed their 90 minute Training Consultation. A trainer will help you decide if Board & Train is right for your pup.
